About
Tianyu Su is a PhD student in Material Science and Engineering department at UIUC. He is interested in applying first-principle calculation combined with Monte Carlo simulation to study complex materials, with particular focus on hydrogen embrittlement of structure materials. He is currently investigating the H effects on short-range order in austenitic steels and how this potential change of chemical ordering will affect the mechanical properties of structural materials.
