Dr. Nilesh P. Salke joined the physics department of at the University of Illinois Chicago in January 2020. His research interests focus on the synthesis and investigation of physical and chemical properties of materials at extreme conditions of pressure and temperature. He is currently working on hydride superconductors and nitride-based high-energy-density and superhard materials.
