About
Abdul Haseeb is a chemistry graduate student at UIC interested in the electronic and structural properties of high-temperature superconducting ternary hydrides under extreme conditions. He is currently investigating the La-Y(or Al) alloy superhydrides as the next generation of high-Tc superconductors. He uses various experimental techniques to probe these systems, including laser heating synthesis, x-ray synchrotron radiation, Raman spectroscopy, SEM-EDS, and electrical transport methods. Abdul's current project contributes to CDAC Thrust II. Chemical and Material Extremes.
