Masashi W. Kimura is a chemistry graduate student in the Zurek lab at the University at Buffalo. His research interests include crystal structure prediction, superconductivity, and high-pressure chemistry and materials. He is currently performing crystal structure prediction searches on high-pressure Y-Ca-H phases using the XtalOpt evolutionary algorithm to uncover probable high-temperature superconductors.
