About
Eduardo is a physics PhD student at UIC currently investigating the spin liquid phase of Na3Co2SbO6 under high pressures. To probe this cobaltate atomic and electronic structures, he uses synchrotron-based techniques as powder and single crystal X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray absorption near edge spectroscopy (XANES) and X-ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD). Besides, he is also interested in the study of high Tc superconductors, and on the development of designer anvils and toroidal diamonds for high pressure experiments in the megabar range.
